Yuvraj Singh’s father and former cricketer Yograj Singh recently made some shocking revelations about his past animosity towards Kapil Dev. In an interview on the YouTube channel “Unfiltered by Samdish”, Yograj recounted an incident when, after being dropped from the Indian team during Kapil Dev’s captaincy, he went to Kapil Dev’s house with a pistol with the intention of confronting him. He claimed that he stopped himself from resorting to violence because of the presence of Kapil’s mother.

Expressing a sense of betrayal, Yograj said, “I abused him a dozen times and told him, ‘Because of you, I have lost everything. I want to shoot you in the head, but I won’t do it because your holy mother is standing here.'”

Kapil Dev responded to these allegations with apparent nonchalance. When reporters questioned him, he replied, “Kaun hai? Kiski baat baat rahe ho?” (Who? Who are you asking about?), and on getting clarification, he simply said, “Achcha, aur kuchh?” (Oh, that’s it?), refraining from making any further comment on the matter.

These revelations have sparked discussions in the cricket community, shedding light on the intense personal conflicts that go on behind the scenes in Indian cricket.
