Simran Singh, a 25-year-old Instagram influencer and freelance radio jockey from Jammu and Kashmir, was found dead in her Gurugram apartment in Sector 47. The police suspect suicide, as her body was discovered hanging in her room on Wednesday night. No suicide note was found at the scene.

Simran, affectionately known as “Jammu Ki Dhadkan” (Heartbeat of Jammu), had nearly seven lakh followers on Instagram, with her last post dated December 13.

Her family reported that she had been dealing with personal difficulties, which may have led to this tragic incident. Following a written complaint from the family, a post-mortem was conducted, and her body has been handed over to them. No case has been filed.

Leaders from the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference, including President Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah, expressed profound grief over Simran’s untimely demise. They extended heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, and countless fans, praying for peace to the departed soul and strength to her loved ones.
