Two killed, two injured in road accident: A woman and retired teacher Harendra Thakur died while two others were injured after being hit by an uncontrolled truck above the Banwar rail over bridge on the Chapra-Siwan main road in Daudpur.
Many people injured in fight during Holi: More than one and a half dozen people were seriously injured in the fights in various villages during Holi in Amanour. All the injured have been admitted to the local health center.
Teenager dies due to drowning in river: 13-year-old teenager Sudhantu Kumari of Madhwal village of Maker died due to drowning while bathing in the Gandak river. Her body has been recovered from the river after three days.
