Appointment as Chairman of Tata Trusts

In October 2024, following the demise of his half-brother Ratan Tata, Noel Tata was appointed chairman of Tata Trusts. Tata Trusts holds a 66% stake in Tata Sons, the parent company of the Tata Group, giving it substantial influence over the group’s operations.
