Among individual stocks, Power Finance Corporation Limited saw a gain of 8.85 points (2.12%) and closed at ₹426.25 with a trading volume of 8.88 million shares. Kotak Mahindra Bank Limited also rose 32.15 points (1.84%) to close at ₹1,782.75 with a turnover of 2.08 million shares.
