1. Bus accident in Gujarat: Seven killed, 15 injured

Seven people were killed and 15 others injured in a horrific bus accident in Gujarat this morning. The accident occurred around 4:15 am when a luxury bus carrying 48 pilgrims fell into a 200-feet deep gorge after the driver lost control. The bus had taken a tea break at Saputara hill station and resumed its journey on the Nashik-Gujarat highway. According to local authorities, brake failure could be the probable cause of the accident. The deceased include three men and two women, while the driver is also among the casualties. In the pictures of the accident site, the blue double-decker bus can be seen lying badly damaged at the bottom of the gorge.

2. Privatisation in Space Sector: India’s New Initiatives

Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Government of India has taken a significant step towards privatisation in the space sector. Vyacheslav Volodin, the speaker of the State Duma of Russia and a close ally of President Vladimir Putin, left for India today, where he will attend important meetings and talks in New Delhi. He stressed the need to develop strategic partnership, trust, and mutually beneficial cooperation between India and Russia. The visit is aimed at promoting contacts in various fields between the two countries.

4. IPO market boom: Indian companies have big plans

Although economic challenges and currency pressures exist, the initial public offering (IPO) market in India is expected to grow significantly this year.
