दिल्ली के बुराड़ी इलाके में सोमवार शाम एक नवनिर्मित चार मंजिला इमारत के ढहने से एक बड़ा हादसा हुआ। इस दुर्घटना में अब तक दो लोगों की मौत की पुष्टि हुई है, जिनमें एक सात वर्षीय बच्ची राधिका और एक 18 वर्षीय युवती शामिल हैं। मलबे से 12 लोगों को सुरक्षित बाहर निकाला गया है, जबकि अभी भी 25 से अधिक लोगों के फंसे होने की आशंका है।

घटना का विवरण:

यह हादसा बुराड़ी के कौशिक एन्क्लेव इलाके में हुआ, जहां ऑस्कर पब्लिक स्कूल के पास स्थित 200 वर्ग गज में फैली एक नवनिर्मित चार मंजिला इमारत अचानक ढह गई। स्थानीय लोगों के अनुसार, इमारत में लगभग 25 से 30 लोग रह रहे थे। दुर्घटना के तुरंत बाद पुलिस, दमकल विभाग, दिल्ली आपदा प्रबंधन प्राधिकरण (डीडीएमए) और राष्ट्रीय आपदा मोचन बल (एनडीआरएफ) की टीमें मौके पर पहुंचीं और राहत एवं बचाव कार्य शुरू किया।

प्रशासन की प्रतिक्रिया:

दिल्ली की मुख्यमंत्री आतिशी ने घटना पर शोक व्यक्त करते हुए स्थानीय प्रशासन को राहत और बचाव कार्य तेजी से सुनिश्चित करने के निर्देश दिए हैं। पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने भी घटना को बेहद दुखद बताते हुए पार्टी कार्यकर्ताओं को राहत कार्य में प्रशासन की मदद करने का निर्देश दिया है।

चश्मदीदों का बयान:

स्थानीय निवासी राम निवास सिंह ने बताया कि वह अपने घर के बाहर खड़े थे, तभी पूरी इमारत भरभराकर गिर गई और चारों तरफ धूल का गुबार फैल गया। मजदूरी करने वाले दीपक कुमार ने बताया कि एक बार ऐसा लगा कि भूकंप आ गया है। उन्होंने मलबे के ऊपरी हिस्से में फंसे छह लोगों को बाहर निकाला।

बचाव कार्य अभी भी जारी है, और मलबे में फंसे लोगों को निकालने के लिए जीवन रक्षक उपकरणों और स्निफर डॉग की सहायता ली जा रही है। अधिकारियों ने बताया कि इलाके की अनियोजित संरचना के कारण राहत कार्य में कठिनाई हो रही है।

A major accident occurred in Delhi’s Burari area on Monday evening when a newly constructed four-storey building collapsed. So far two people have been confirmed dead in this accident, including a seven-year-old girl Radhika and an 18-year-old woman. 12 people have been rescued safely from the debris, while more than 25 people are still feared trapped.

Details of the incident:

The accident took place in Kaushik Enclave area of Burari, where a newly constructed four-storey building spread over 200 square yards located near Oscar Public School suddenly collapsed. According to locals, about 25 to 30 people were living in the building. Immediately after the accident, teams of police, fire department, Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) and National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) reached the spot and started relief and rescue operations.

Administration’s response:

Delhi Chief Minister Atishi has expressed grief over the incident and has directed the local administration to ensure speedy relief and rescue work. Former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has also described the incident as very sad and has directed the party workers to help the administration in relief work.

Eyewitness statement:

Local resident Ram Niwas Singh said that he was standing outside his house when the entire building collapsed and dust spread all around. Deepak Kumar, a labourer, said that at one point it felt like an earthquake had struck. He pulled out six people trapped in the upper part of the debris.

Rescue work is still going on, and life saving equipment and sniffer dogs are being used to rescue people trapped in the debris. Officials said that the unplanned structure of the area is making rescue work difficult.
