शिक्षा:

कड़ाके की ठंड को देखते हुए, सारण जिले में कक्षा 1 से 8 तक के सभी स्कूल 24 जनवरी तक बंद रहेंगे। विशेष कक्षाओं को इस आदेश से छूट दी गई है।

कानून व्यवस्था:

DIG सारण ने मकेर थाना के निलंबित थानाध्यक्ष रविरंजन कुमार को बर्खास्त कर दिया है। उन पर व्यापारी से 32 लाख रुपये लूटने का आरोप था, और वे वर्तमान में जेल में हैं।

सारण पुलिस ने मांझी इलाके से 25,000 रुपये के इनामी बदमाश प्रणय नौटंकी को गिरफ्तार किया है। वह हत्या के प्रयास समेत 10 मामलों में वांछित था।

रेलवे कर्मचारी आंदोलन:

छपरा जंक्शन पर लोको रनिंग स्टाफ ने माइलेज रेट और ग्रेड पे बढ़ाने की मांग को लेकर विरोध प्रदर्शन किया। उन्होंने आंदोलन की चेतावनी भी दी है।

बिजली आपूर्ति:

तेलपा ग्रिड सब स्टेशन में विंटर मेंटेनेंस कार्य के कारण, छपरा में आज सुबह 10 बजे से शाम 4 बजे तक बिजली आपूर्ति बाधित रहेगी।

शिक्षण गतिविधियाँ:

छपरा में 29 जनवरी को उर्दू वाद-विवाद प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन होगा, जिसमें मैट्रिक से स्नातक तक के छात्रों के लिए विभिन्न विषय निर्धारित किए गए हैं। विजेताओं को पुरस्कार, मेडल और प्रमाण पत्र प्रदान किए जाएंगे।

जयप्रकाश विश्वविद्यालय में स्नातक द्वितीय वर्ष की परीक्षा 25 से 31 जनवरी तक दो पालियों में आयोजित की जाएगी। सारण प्रमंडल के 17 केंद्रों पर यह परीक्षा होगी।

Education:

In view of the severe cold, all schools from class 1 to 8 in Saran district will remain closed till January 24. Special classes are exempted from this order.

Law and Order:

DIG Saran has sacked the suspended SHO of Makher police station Raviranjan Kumar. He was accused of robbing Rs 32 lakh from the businessman, and is currently in jail.

Saran police has arrested Pranay Nautanki, a miscreant with a reward of Rs 25,000, from Manjhi area. He was wanted in 10 cases including attempt to murder.

Railway Employees Agitation:

Loco running staff protested at Chhapra Junction demanding increase in mileage rate and grade pay. They have also warned of agitation.

Power supply:

Due to winter maintenance work at Telpa grid sub station, power supply will be disrupted in Chapra from 10 am to 4 pm today.

Teaching activities:

Urdu debate competition will be organized in Chapra on January 29, in which various topics have been prescribed for students from matriculation to graduation. Prizes, medals and certificates will be awarded to the winners.

Graduation second year examination in Jaiprakash University will be held in two shifts from January 25 to 31. This examination will be held at 17 centers in Saran division.
