दिघवारा नगर प्रशासन ने मुख्य बाजार को अतिक्रमण मुक्त करने के लिए 20 जनवरी 2025 को एक अभियान चलाया।
इससे पहले, 18 जनवरी को माइकिंग के माध्यम से दुकानदारों को सूचित किया गया था कि वे अपने दुकानों के सामने से अतिक्रमण, जैसे छज्जा, शेड, सीढ़ी आदि, स्वयं हटा लें।
अभियान के दौरान, कई दुकानदारों ने स्वेच्छा से अपने अतिक्रमित हिस्सों को हटा लिया, जबकि कुछ के खिलाफ प्रशासन ने सख्त कार्रवाई की। इस तीन घंटे के अभियान में, नगर पंचायत के कार्यपालक पदाधिकारी रोशन कुमार, सीओ मिट्ठू प्रसाद, और अपर थानाध्यक्ष टिंकू कुमार की उपस्थिति में अतिक्रमण हटाया गया, जिससे आम जनता को राहत मिली। हालांकि, कुछ स्थानों पर जनता ने विरोध भी किया। प्रशासन ने स्पष्ट किया है कि भविष्य में सड़क का अतिक्रमण करने वाले दुकानदारों के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई की जाएगी।

The Dighwara Municipal Administration launched a campaign on January 20, 2025 to make the main market encroachment free.
Earlier, on January 18, shopkeepers were informed through miking that they should remove encroachments, such as balconies, sheds, stairs, etc., from in front of their shops themselves.
During the campaign, many shopkeepers voluntarily removed their encroached parts, while the administration took strict action against some. In this three-hour campaign, the encroachment was removed in the presence of Nagar Panchayat Executive Officer Roshan Kumar, CO Mittu Prasad, and Additional Police Station Head Tinku Kumar, which brought relief to the general public. However, the public also protested at some places. The administration has made it clear that strict action will be taken against shopkeepers who encroach the road in future.
