Due to the ongoing cold wave in Bihar, especially in Patna, the district administration has revised the school timings to ensure the safety of students. From January 2 to January 6, 2025, all government and private schools, including Anganwadi centers and pre-schools, will operate from 9:00 am. This adjustment is aimed at protecting students from the severe cold during the morning hours.

Apart from the change in timings, the Bihar education department has also released the school holiday calendar for 2025. Schools in the state will have 72 holidays throughout the year, including summer and winter vacations, as well as other important holidays.

In addition, the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released model question papers for the 2025 matriculation (class 10) and intermediate (class 12) exams. Students can download subject-wise question papers from the official BSEB website to prepare effectively.

These measures reflect the state’s commitment to ensure the well-being and academic preparation of its students amid challenging weather conditions.
