सड़क हादसे में दो की मौत, दो घायल: दाउदपुर में छपरा-सीवान मुख्य मार्ग पर बनवार रेल ओवर ब्रिज के ऊपर एक अनियंत्रित ट्रक की चपेट में आने से एक महिला और रिटायर्ड शिक्षक हरेंद्र ठाकुर की मौत हो गई, जबकि दो अन्य लोग घायल हो गए।
होली के दौरान मारपीट में कई लोग घायल: अमनौर में होली के दौरान विभिन्न गांवों में हुई मारपीट में डेढ़ दर्जन से अधिक लोग गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गए। सभी घायलों को स्थानीय स्वास्थ्य केंद्र में भर्ती कराया गया है।
नदी में डूबने से किशोरी की मौत: मकेर के मधवल गांव की 13 वर्षीय किशोरी सुधान्तु कुमारी की गंडक नदी में स्नान करते समय डूबने से मौत हो गई। तीन दिन बाद उसका शव नदी से बरामद किया गया है।
पुलिस पर हमला, वाहन क्षतिग्रस्त: दिघवारा थाना क्षेत्र के चकनूर सैदपुर गांव में नशे में धुत दो पक्षों के बीच झगड़ाहो गया। पुलिस के समझाने पर उपद्रवियों ने पुलिस पर हमला किया, जिससे कई पुलिसकर्मी घायल हो गए और वाहन के शीशे फोड़ दिए गए।
दिल्ली में युवक का शव बरामद: मांझी के नटवर गोपी गांव के अनिल कुमार यादव का शव नई दिल्ली के शिवाजी ब्रिज के पास रेलवे ट्रैक पर मिला। वह एक प्राइवेट फैक्ट्री में काम करता थे और होली की छुट्टी पर घर आ रहा था।
अवैध अस्पताल सील करने का आदेश: छपरा में एक अवैध अस्पताल द्वारा मरीज से 60 हजार रुपये की ठगी के मामले में जिलाधिकारी ने अस्पताल को सील करने का आदेश दे दिया है और जांच के निर्देश दिए हैं।

ऑर्केस्ट्रा संचालक की हत्या: बारात से लौट रहे ऑर्केस्ट्रा संचालक की पीट-पीटकर हत्या कर दी गई। परिजनों का कहना है कि बदमाशों ने घेर कर मारा; एक साल पहले परिजनों ने भगवा झंडे का अपमान किया था।
ज्वेलरी शॉप में लूटपाट: छपरा में दो बाइकों पर सवार चार बदमाशों ने ज्वेलरी शॉप से 20 लाख रुपये के गहने लूट लिए। यह पूरी वारदात सीसीटीवी में कैद हुई है। भागते समय अपराधियों ने तीन राउंड फायरिंग की, जिसमें एक व्यक्ति घायल हो गया।
