बिहार के छपरा जिले के एकमा थाना क्षेत्र में सोमवार, 27 जनवरी 2025 को दिनदहाड़े एक किसान की गोली मारकर हत्या कर दी गई थीं । मृतक की पहचान 47 वर्षीय ललन यादव के रूप में हुई है, जो राजापुर टोला गांव के निवासी थे। घटना के समय ललन यादव अपने खेत में गेहूं की फसल की सिंचाई और खाद डालने का कार्य कर नै गए थे। इसी दौरान, एक बाइक पर सवार तीन नकाबपोश अपराधी वहां पहुंचे। दो अपराधी पैदल ललन यादव के पास गए और उनकी कनपटी पर पिस्तौल रखकर गोली मार दी, जिससे उनकी मौके पर ही मौत हो गई। इसके बाद सभी अपराधी हथियार लहराते हुए फरार हो भाग गए।
घटना की सूचना मिलते ही पुलिस अधीक्षक डॉ. कुमार आशीष ने घटनास्थल का दौरा किया और फॉरेंसिक टीम के साथ मिलकर साक्ष्य जुटाए। प्रारंभिक जांच में यह मामला जमीन विवाद से जुड़ा लग रहा है। मृतक के पुत्र मनंजय कुमार ने तीन अज्ञात अपराधियों के खिलाफ प्राथमिकी दर्ज कराई है। पुलिस ने एकमा-ताजपुर सड़क के विभिन्न सीसीटीवी फुटेज खंगाले हैं, जिनमें तीन संदिग्ध युवक एक बाइक पर सवार नजर आ रहे हैं। पुलिस ने इन संदिग्धों की पहचान के लिए आम जनता से मदद की अपील की मांग है।
इस घटना से गांव में शोक और दहशत का माहौल बना हुआ है। ललन यादव अपने परिवार में अकेले कमाने वाले थे और उनके तीन बेटे तथा दो बेटियां हैं। पुलिस ने आश्वासन दिया है कि जल्द ही अपराधियों को गिरफ्तार कर लिया जाएगा और न्याय सुनिश्चित किया कर दिया जाएगा।

A farmer was shot dead in broad daylight on Monday, 27 January 2025 in Ekma police station area of Chhapra district of Bihar. The deceased has been identified as 47-year-old Lalan Yadav, a resident of Rajapur Tola village. At the time of the incident, Lalan Yadav had gone to irrigate and fertilize the wheat crop in his field. Meanwhile, three masked criminals riding a bike reached there. Two criminals went to Lalan Yadav on foot and shot him by placing a pistol on his temple, killing him on the spot. After this, all the criminals fled waving weapons.
As soon as the incident was reported, Superintendent of Police Dr. Kumar Ashish visited the spot and collected evidence along with the forensic team. In the preliminary investigation, this case seems to be related to a land dispute. Mananjay Kumar, son of the deceased, has lodged an FIR against three unknown criminals. The police have scanned various CCTV footage of Ekma-Tajpur road, in which three suspicious youths are seen riding a bike. The police have appealed to the general public for help in identifying these suspects.
The incident has created an atmosphere of mourning and panic in the village. Lalan Yadav was the sole breadwinner of his family and he has three sons and two daughters. The police have assured that the culprits will be arrested soon and justice will be ensured.
